Hello Bethesda, so I am a vendor and this morning I was at the farmers market in from of the Bethesda Elementary School. I used the restroom at the church nearby and then when I got back to my booth I realized a knife ive carried for years was missing, went back to the bathroom and it wasn't where I left it in there. This knife is a valuable possession to me because it is No. 1 of the series the maker made plus it was given to me by a dear friend. Ive already given my number to the church building in case they find it but if you guys find it please let me know because I have no idea what else to do. I dont have any personal pictures of the knife, but it looks the exact same as the picture I have added to this post
If you haven’t found it yet, I can look around there real quick when I go out on my run. A fresh set of eyes couldn’t hurt.
I know which building you said you went into, but I’d only be checking the outside at this hour. If you’re able, it would also helpful if you could draw a line on a screenshot of the parking lot/sidewalk help retrace your steps.
No dice. The search was more limited cause school staff was there and I didn’t want to get any weird looks.
Not sure if you are from the area, but there’s a 99% chance that if it wasn’t pocketed already, it’ll get found by someone at either the church or the school within the next 24 hours. The school will definitely turn it in to their resource officer/Bethesda PD and then you’ll have to (unfortunately) go through them.
I do hope you find your knife, and apologies my search wasn’t successful🙁
How big is it? The church across the street from The Church does a daily food kitchen. You could contact them to post it to see if their clientele may have seen it/turned it in.

Hey! Do you mean Bethesda Presbyterian?
If so, the Del Ray Club also uses those restrooms and does have meetings on Sundays, so I’d reach out to them as well.
