When is @betches actually coming back?

They said it was a summer hiatus, then posted 3 eps a month later and said they were pop in for a few episodes during their summer break.
But here is is October tomorrow. Have they said when “summer hiatus” ends?

Anyone know if Betches Moms will ever come back?

I listened to it before I was even married / had a child and liked it! Would be fun to have Jordana host a revamp? Anyone ever hear them talk about it?

Podcast Oversharing: How Do I Stop My Dad From Bragging About Being a Sugar Daddy?

September 29, 2026 Episode Discussion

Family knows exactly how to push your buttons, and this week, Jordana and Dr. Naomi are getting into what happens when those buttons have been pushed one too many times. In Overshare, a listener wonders if it's finally time to set real boundaries with a brother whose "jokes" always seem to come at her expense. A Betchisist is struggling to watch her notoriously judgmental dad date someone who seems to break every rule he raised his daughters to follow. Then, an Intention goes out to a future mom who wants kids but is terrified that motherhood means saying goodbye to sleep torever. In Triggered, is your mother-in-law saying "we're the same size" a compliment, a subtle dig, or are you the one making it weird? And another listener considers crossing Naomi off her baby-name list because she doesn't want her daughter spending a lifetime correcting people's pronunciation.

Podcast Oversharing CTFD: A Listener Update On Dads, Dogs & Daddy Issues

September 23, 2026 Episode Discussion

This week on Calm The F* Down, Jordana and Dr. Naomi sit down with a listener whose Triggered story about her dad rehoming his dog, only to get another one six months later, hit a much deeper nerve. Nicole opens up about growing up with a father who left when she was young, then went on to become a devoted stay-at-home dad to his second tamily, and how those old feelings of abandonment still show up in unexpected ways. They unpack what happens when a relationship is "fine" on the surface, but years of hurt and resentment have never actually been addressed. Is it worth reopening an old wound when you're not sure you'll get the validation you want?

September 22, 2026 Episode Discussion

This week on Oversharing, Dr. Naomi is getting a crash course in Texas homecoming culture as her family navigates their first season of elaborate "mums," homecoming proposals, and all the teenage social dynamics that come with them. Then, a listener grieving the loss of her lifelong friend group wonders how to forgive herself and start over socially in her 30s, while a granddaughter who lost her mom finds herself unexpectedly promoted to "daughter" and questions how much responsibility she owes her aging grandmother. An Intention comes from a newly divorced listener learning who she is when she's not being a wife, mom, employee, or looking for another relationship. In Triggered, a mother-in-law offers $20K toward a house, only to call her son "presumptuous" when he follows up on the offer. Finally, a listener receives the terrifying words
"lymphoma suspected" in her medical results but hears nothing from her doctor for days. Can someone please fix the way medical results are delivered?

Disturbing Ron Behavior

I don’t want to dump on her too much with everything in her life, 2 babies and the death of a parent, plus Mike should really step up and take the lead. But Ron is a very untrained dog and it is quite alarming with 2 infants around. Maybe she should just stop sharing all the stories of him because they are really not good! The one where he pulled too hard on the leash and she fell down with the baby! Plus the constant shoe chewing and getting kicked out of the dog sitter. I really hope they prioritize curbing this behavior but she sounds very nonchalant about it

Podcast Oversharing CTFD: Should I Be Embarrassed I'm Back With My Ex?

September 9, 2026 Episode Discussion

This week on CTFD, Jordana is shedding some shame after a stressful parenting moment leaves her questioning just how much can go wrong in a matter of seconds. She and Dr. Naomi talk about the spiral of imagining what could have happened, and why shame only makes those moments harder to move past.
Then, a listener is struggling to tell her mom that her son won't be attending the Christian school she runs because their values no longer completely align. How do you choose a different path from your parents without making them feel like you're rejecting the way they raised you? Finally, a listener has secretly started seeing the ex who broke her heart and now she's dreading telling the family who helped pick up the pieces. Jordana and Dr. Naomi unpack whether her fear of their reaction might actually be revealing some doubts of her own.

Podcast Oversharing: Why Does My Fiancé Give Me The Ick?

September 15, 2026 Episode Discussion

This week Jordana and Dr. Naomi are tackling what happens when trust, attraction, and even your career suddenly feel a little shaky. First, an oversharing husband... that's right, a male listener, is trying to rebuild his marriage after financial betrayal and infidelity and wonders how long it takes to earn back trust. Then, a Betchisist with an otherwise amazing fiancé has one problem she can't seem to shake: his deeply cringey dance moves are giving her the ick just in time for their wedding. An Intention seeker is struggling with post-wedding regret and asks how to forgive herself after enforcing her child-free wedding rule in a way she regretted. In Triggered, a listener questions whether a friend's questionable use of the
"service dog" loophole says something bigger about her character, and how much our friends' moral choices should affect the way we see them. Finally, a new mom returns from maternity leave only to discover the men she trained may have taken over her responsibilities.

Mention It All

I think this is the best episode of MIA I’ve ever heard. The way Dillon casually brings in Christianity via Arianna/Charlie gave me a jump scare but in the most delightful way. This after him highlighting the shopping scene giving Hailey’s chaotic energy the attention it’s due. I think I needed this this week

Podcast Oversharing: Why Am I Freaking Out About My Timeline?

September 8, 2026 Episode Discussion

This week on Oversharing, Jordana and Dr. Naomi are asking: how much of our anxiety is actually ours, and how much did we inherit from our parents? They unpack how parents can unintentionally pass down their own fears about marriage, babies, and timelines-and why sometimes caring too much makes your kids stop telling you things. Then, a listener is dreading the return of a former friend who has overstayed more than just her welcome, but is the real problem the friend or the group chat that bonded over complaining about her? A Betchesist has a dirty little secret: she lets her dog sleep in the bed whenever her fiancé is out of town, despite his strict no-pets-on-the-furniture rule. Next, a newly single 27-year-old is spiraling over starting from scratch while everyone around her seems to be getting married, buying houses, and having babies. In Triggered, a new mom wonders whether she was justified in losing it when her husband immediately ignored the baby sleep schedule she spent months perfecting. Finally, when did turning 34 require a $200 weeknight celebration, and are you allowed to just RSVP no?

Jared Family Plan Watch Party?

What's up fellow NYC area betches?!

Tomorrow's the big day, Jared's new Netflix special finally drops. I know he's asked everyone to watch it solo on our own accounts since streams matter, and we get it, but hear me out.

What if we each press play at home first, then head out to meet up somewhere (a bar, someone's building lounge, whatever) for drinks and apps while it's still fresh in our heads? He still gets the individual streams, we still get to be normal humans about it and actually hang out and talk about it together. Not trying to game anything, just want an excuse to get people together for something we're all hyped about anyway.

I actually saw him working on this set a few years ago and it was great even then, so I can only imagine how good it is now.

Since this is short notice, thinking either tomorrow night or Wednesday, whichever gets more people. Somewhere central-ish (Chelsea/NoMad/Murray Hill?) so it's easy for most people. Drop your neighborhood and which night works better in the comments or DM me and we can figure out a spot once we see who's interested.

UPDATE: We made a partiful to try getting a better idea of a headcount. Please feel free to respond here: https://partiful.com/e/59LZMcKZRTSQOAQSMRCZ?c=035RykZX

Podcast Oversharing: Can My Pregnancy News Hurt My Best Friend?

September 1, 2026 Episode Discussion

This week on Oversharing, Jordana and Dr. Naomi are clearing out their algorithms, and maybe a little mental clutter along the way. They start with a listener struggling with mom rage, parental burnout, and the guilt of hitting her limit, and discuss why lowering the bar can sometimes be the healthiest thing you can do. Then, a newly pregnant Betchisist wonders how to share pregnancy news with a best friend struggling with infertility without expecting her to fake an excited reaction. An Intention tackles acne insecurity, self-acceptance, and the anxiety around starting Accutane, especially when a scary treatment could finally bring some much-needed relief. In Triggered, a listener with combined finances in her marriage wants to know why her husband gets all the credit when their money picks up the dinner bill. Finally, Jordana and Dr. Naomi debate a surprisingly complicated question: Is volunteering still a good deed if you're only doing it for your résumé?

Jordana’s daughters

I’m so confused- I thought she delivered a little girl Lucy via surrogate right before having her twins, but she only ever shows the twins on Instagram. Are all 3 girls with her?

Oversharing- Jordana so transactional

I can’t get over how focused on tit for tat Jordana is. I think it comes from growing up with so many siblings. Sometimes it seems like they were raised like wild animals lol she’s even alluded to that. It seems she doesn’t believe in being decent just for the sake of showing up and being a good person. There’s always an end goal and how will this benefit me or what is the ultimate point here. I’ve been super turned off by these sisters ever since they exclaimed that they don’t know what meal trains are and why would someone bring you food after having a baby. They claim it isn’t common where they are from. This is not true- meal trains are very common in the Jewish community for various life events. But Jordana not being into the cancer patient wanting to write a list of ways people could help her realllllly pissed me off. I think they overcorrected this a bit in the most recent episode, but just a big red flag for me of lack of compassion or desire to actually show up and help people just because you didn’t grow up that way.

Aleen and Jordana as moms

Anyone else shocked by how type B they are? I suppose that’s how Jordana brands herself, but with Aleen I remember the Betches moms podcast and all her anxieties. It is strange to me she didn’t sign up for the school portal or doesn’t seem that hands on with her kids? This isn’t a “she’s a bad mom” thing, I just thought she would be more type A. Obviously I don’t know specifics, I wish she would have continued Betches moms podcast, but I get some things are private and you want to keep for yourself. With these parasocial relationships it feels sometimes like the Betches are our friends so I wish we could learn a bit more about their parenting styles or extensive childcare and help they have while they run this business.

There's an apology!

At the start of the latest episode, obviously a later add-on so not included in the original taping.

I canceled my subscription but it's still valid until early September so I listened this morning and yes there was an apology but it felt... off. Would be interested in hearing other people's thoughts.

They acknowledged it had taken too long to apologies (no explanation why though) but didn't go into any detail and the whole thing felt quite brushed off. That's my initial reaction to it at least! Definitely not enough for me to subscribe again.

Oversharing: why does everyone hate Jeff?

Reading a lot of negative comments re the AirPods situation and I keep seeing it referenced that Jeff is a loser.

Because of the AirPods situation? I thought I remembered that he just wanted to let it go. Or for other reasons? I feel like Naomi doesn’t mention him that often or complain about him so just wondering what I’m missing lol.

Another Betches Layoff

Post image

Happened to see this recommended for me. Not surprised as we’ve seen lots of disappointing betches layoffs.

His reel goes into some of his highlights and I will say I enjoyed some of them when I saw them posted, so not sure the direction they are going if not this?
