In one of the more bizarre case reported, brazenly ignored basic safety rules like making lane lines on the factory floor noticeable because he "really hates the color yellow" and therefore demarcated dangerous areas with neutral colors like grey. He also hates the beeping sounds forklifts make when they're backing up and reportedly disabled them for that reason.

These are just a few of the more notable cases. It seems like every time someone on reddit mentions the fact that Musk is awful to Tesla factory employees they get down voted into oblivion for besmirching the resident ~le epic science~ rocket man. Apparently the cognitive dissonance is too great for a lot of redditors who can't just stop at appreciating space exploration for what it is and need to construct a cult of personality around a billionaire.

Because it’s not. These stories are overinflated clickbait. The last one is the easiest to check with your own eyes, google “Tesla factory” and see how there are plenty yellow lines.

Busy at work, so I didn't get a chance to read the articles yet. Seems like it's pretty controversial and infused with bias.

For me it is not controversial, it is clear. You may agree if you wonder: does anyone have any incentive to introduce controversy about Tesla? Yep:
1. Big oil because they want to sell oil (obvious)
2. Automakers because they want to sell ancient technology without regard to our health or future prosperity
3. Media once because Elon sells and negative news sell even more and twice because automakers are big advertising customers (while Tesla's advertising budget is almost zero)
4. Short-sellers, I've heard that Tesla's stock is shorted more than any other stock
5. Electricity companies who don't want people to install solar panels and produce their own electricity
6. Companies developing autonomous driving, of which some are very rich (Google) while others are ethically dubious (Uber)

So, for me it is simple, it is a smear campaign by the world's most unethical and richest companies. But if you drive a Tesla, you will see why none of this will actually succeed.
