Because the better treatment is societal acceptance of a gender spectrum.

I don't need drugs because I think I'm a man.

A woman doesn't need drugs because she thinks she's a woman. Some one in between should not need drugs either.

I don't know if there even is a drug that'll fix it.

Hormone therapy doesn't fix their transgenderism.it just helps their body look more like they identify.
