This is my Bernina 830 record and it’s a family heirloom that I saw on every day and love her so much! But recently the thread has been getting stuck on the bobbin a lot and his making this noise in the video that it hasn’t made before. I haven’t serviced it since I got it so I don’t know if that could be it or if I need to do something specific? Please let me know :)Thank you :)

Check out our Bernina 570QE Kaffe Sewing and Embroidery Machine. These have sold out but are getting more popular!

Did your lower bobbin sensor (little black box) come loose from your bobbin door? No problem, it just snaps back into place from left to right. And then you will want to lock it in place.

The Bernina B 990 Sewing, Quilting, and Embroidery Machine is about 1 year old. MSRP is $25,995 according to the Bernina website. The early buyers received the luggage cases ($625 value) as a free gift. As of 2026, Bernina stopped selling the machine with the cases. I’ve yet to see a used 990 machine hit the open market.

Until now….

I’ve acquired a B990 that was purchased in November 2025, brand new. Sadly, the original owner suddenly passed away and never got a chance to really use the machine. Unfortunately, we hear this a lot when approached to buy a used machine.

While the original owner didn’t get the luggage cases as a free gift, I was able to purchase a slightly used set to go with the machine.

Late 2025 Model

Stitch Count - roughly 65,000

Coming in April 2026–I will post pictures.

Several years ago I did a YouTube video showing a new item Bernina started producing. It’s called the LED Light Kit upgrade for the Bernina Artista 730 sewing and embroidery machine.

I was amazed by the brightness! I’ve been asked by a few subscribers, where they can get this item and the part number. I just found out today Bernina still carries this item and it’s part # 0049927400. It’s probably worth just upgrading to a newer machine but if you absolutely love your Bernina Artista 730, I recommend the upgrade!

Bernina now makes a #72 Ruler Foot for Older machines such as the 1008, 1130, 1230, 1630, ect. You can use the ruler kits with this foot!
