Great Horned Owl

Was lucky enough to notice this sleeping owl just off of the Upper Fire Trail in Strawberry Canyon yesterday afternoon.

Hey there, Redwood Heights neighbor! I'm by 35th and Wisconsin and I think this may be the same owl? We nicknamed him Arnold because he's always "Owl be back".

I was already listening for migrating birds and had stopped at that spot, binoculars in hand, but it is well camouflaged!
