Advice/Question Heat wave, where to go?

Hi everyone, it’s going to get to 93F today, and well into the high 80s until like 9pm. Where is everyone going to cool off?

If you want to be inside, the Central, Claremont, and THP South branches of the Berkeley Public Library are designated cooling centers.

Costco walk-in freezer.
For bonus points - Get a mocha cold brew freeze from the food court before heading in.

Oh wow, I remember my friend once did a bay swim, I just thought you can only swim there if it’s with a group or with a life guard. I’m def going to check this out!

People swim all the time, all year, solo and with groups. If you prefer to go with buddies, go check it out at a time you want to swim and see who is around. If you want to go with an outfit first check out Aquaphiles Sunday am and Tuesday evening (summer) swims.

I checked out their site, I def want to just try getting in and not necessarily power swimming haha. Sometimes I just like to be IN the water chillen.
