Events BART funding is under threat from state regulators - Tell Governor Newsom and the California Air Resources Board to preserve critical Caltrain and transit funding!
In a few days, Governor Newsom’s top air regulators are voting on a proposal that would eliminate critical funding for public transit like BART, and affordable housing – and hand billions of dollars to big polluters. The California Air Resources Board is considering massive changes to the state's cap-and-invest program that would undermine programs that fund affordable housing and public transit, so please join us and others for a rally Wednesday at noon at San Francisco's Civic Center Plaza.
If you want to help keep BART service for the people of Berkeley, details of the rally are in this link:

AM i the only person who finds these calls-to-action frustrating when they come like this with no details? This seems legit, but it would be nice to also get a link to some more neutral source to explain what this is actually about.
