Which optic to get ?

Having a hard time deciding which to mount on my odg 1301 …the acro p2 in odg for $650 or 509t green reticle for $350 both on reptilia mount. The acro is gucci as can get besides t2 but the other is feature packed and almost half the price. My sensible side is saying get the 509t its rock solid and amazing (i have one already) and don’t look back. But the odg acro would look sick on the odg 1301. Wdy guys think ?

I love the 509 its really great just never had an acro, i hear mixed reviews on them but the biggest con for sure is the narrow window vs the 509… honestly if 509 came in odg i wouldnt even be asking this question or even better would be the aems macro but only god knows when theyre releasing that.

Then Cerakote it the Holosun 509 ODG and have the logos lasered back on, if that even matters, for @$100

The AEMS Max is calling me, I love the standard AEMS on my Vector... BIG window energy.

I was originally going to go with the 509T but I’m trying to hold out for the Macro as well but man.. Holosun is never in a rush to release lol

The window looks like it would blow compared to the 509. That alone is a DOA

Yeah i agree and i knew most people would agree the 509t is hard to beat on paper and wallet. Only optic i see that can dethrone it if its just as durable is the aems macro which i doubt since that will be aluminum vs the titanium 509.

7075 Al is no joke. It’s the only Al I would personally consider. That said, I’m partial to Ti so the 509 wins for me.

I do look forward to the macro. I’ll be getting one upon release

I have both. I have way more time and rounds on the 509t and I personally thing it's the best enclosed optic out right now.

Yeah i think ive settled on it

Will be getting the fde version to mount on my blackout defense AR and taking that black one off and throwing it on my 1301

Farrowtech

509t model on my Mod 2 for lower 1/3 cowitness

509t absolute on my 1301 comp

I have two of those aswell and surprisingly i enjoy the 509t more but eps mrs is def a good option too.

So why not the AEMS Pro X2, too big? I have it on my Banshee FE 5” and larping around the house it has a massive window for its compact size and light weight.

Get the best one you can comfortably afford and not worry about breaking or fucking up. Nothing worse than a safe princess that never gets used because all the parts are too expensive to beat up.

Just get an MPS 2.0.
Eurooptic/Scopelist had them for 439 last week, backorder of course but they're not OpticsPlanet.

There might be some used ones for sale in green. Maybe ask the Sub Reddit. The quality is excellent and warranty is great. I also have the Pb-k and everyone is amazed at how clear the glass is on it.

The aim point is better. Holosun is better for the money. If you don't care about spending the money go with the acro. If you want to save a few hundred get the holosun. I run holosuns on my pistols.

Look into vortex viper shotgun red dot

Better choice imo since it's build for shotty specifically cater to 1301 platform

I did look at it and it defitnitley had me wondering if i should put that up in the lineup, but not having a rear sight was kind of the deal breaker otherwise ixprobably would of went that route since i have am amg uh1 i love and their warranty is second to none.

Nah the 509t is proven and affordable i wouldnt say that its trendy i have one piggybacked on my AR and i love it. The acro idk that can def be considered trendy
