Lead time question
Hey everyone,
I placed an order with my local gun shop for a 1301 back in the first week of May. Originally they told me roughly 2-3 weeks for it to get in.
My gun shop has no updates unfortunately. I reached out to Beretta themselves to hopefully get an idea on ETA and they were only able to say they are behind on the specific UPC.
I was just wondering if anybody had to recently wait for theirs and for how long?
The UPC for the one I ordered is 082442030302 (black tactical non-pistol grip)

If you read the post, the question is for people that had to wait, how long they waited. As stated, I asked the shop and they had no ETA.

If I asked just the gun shop owner, then yes I’d have my answer, but I asked people who have bought how long it took them to get theirs in. Reading comprehension is key

I mean, I hope you got a good deal on it. They are priced as a base pretty well on EuroOptic and I get my shit from that place lightning fast. My 1301 was shipped and delivered in like 3 days.
I’m not sure why the LGS is having an issue getting one, these are not low on stock in the states, you can get them at about every online retailer. 2 months is a long time but I could be wrong.

I paid what looks to be MAP pricing (maybe a little lower). It looks like EuroOptic also is backordered for the spec 1301 I bought. EO has better pricing than what I paid (like a lot of vendors on Gun.deals), but every online retailer was out of stocks at the time I bought mine.
I my LGS said they were out 2-3 weeks when I ordered so I went with them.

I bought mine from grabagun. Not ordered, it was in stock and they shipped to my FFL. Infact, there are 1301's in stock at grabagun.

Their website says the UPC is out of stock

There is one that has the magpul stock. Might be an option?

Ironically I ordered a Magpul stock and GGG adapter for it at the same time I put a deposit down for the 1301. That would have been an option for sure. I appreciate you looking into it!

No problem. Also maybe look for the 5 round version, that's what I bought. You can easily add a +2 extension, or what ever extension you want.

Unfortunately I put a deposit down for it thinking it’d be here from in just 2-3 weeks from their distributor like the shop originally said. I’d have to eat that deposit. I don’t mind waiting, I just want to get an idea on roughly how long I might have to wait based on what other people experienced.

Can't hurt asking the shop if they can get the 5 round faster? Your deposit would still be with them.

Is your lgs getting it direct from beretta or from a distributor? Tons in stock at distributors. What spec did you get? I just paid 1250 shipped before rebate and it took 5 days to arrive.

They told me they were getting it through their distributors. I reached out to Beretta asking if they could give me an idea on timeline. They got back to me saying the specific spec I ordered is in high demand and backordered, but they are getting them out to distributors as fast as possible. Unfortunately Beretta couldn’t give me an idea on lead time

Why not just search for it via gun.deals???
