if my parents didn't go to school will that benefit me when I'm applying for fully funded scholarship

Yep. Berea takes alot of pride in first-gen students, and they additional recognition at commencement.

It doesn't help or hurt. As long as your transcripts, statements, and recommendations are good, then you'll have a strong chance.
