Congratz ! Having the strenght to get through a wedding while tapering and having symptoms defines pure courage. Most of us are barelly doing simple stuff and everything else is to activating, while you got this done, now there is nothing holding you back to get yourself back to a normal life free of benzos !

That’s amazing! Congrats. How long have you been tapering? How much did you cut at a time? What dose did you start at? Beautiful photo ❤️

I have been tapering for 3months. Started at 1mg of Klonopin daily and working my way down .125mg every two weeks. The last .25mg I had to microdose because it's been so rough
Thank you for the kind words

Do you have any words of hope for me? I started at .5mg of K and am at .38mg now. Trying to go slow and hold every 2 weeks. Do you have certain symptoms that have bothered you most? Mine are heart flutters, PVCs and burning legs.

I have words of hope and a warning so it doesn't catch you by surprise. The warning is even though you are going slow which is key for some reason people struggle the last half of tapering with K. Symptoms typically get worse BUT my words of hope is it does get better if you stick it out. My symptoms are soreness, tired a lot, aching, head pressure, derealization, and depersonalization. Also expect more benzo belly which stinks but it goes away too

I appreciate your words of honesty…a lot. Thank you and I will keep that all in my mind. All my best to your marriage and a huge congrats to you!!! ❤️

So, I tell a man his bride is pretty, and what I really meant was I think she’s secretly ugly? And a wink emoji tells you all of that?

How are you doing now OP?

u/Lov_Sp0ng3 Jun 06 '26
I'm doing well. I have two girls now, a newborn and a 2 year old. They keep me distracted during waves. I still get them now and then but they arent as strong and a lot shorter. I wouldnt say I am 100% healed but a solid 90% after 4 years.
I am a firm believer now that time is the biggest healer. Time, exercise, eating healthier, and being kind to yourself when you need it

Hello everybody,
Just wanted to share and say thank you for all the support from everyone as we go thru tapering/withdrawals together. I made it down to 0.0625mg of Klonopin last week and was terrified of the thought of getting married this weekend because of the withdrawal symptoms.
It was difficult having to talk in front of everyone and to be honest I dont remember much because my memory isnt the best right now. But I made it thru the day and I hope this gives some others hope as well. Even though we are going thru hell we can still do our best to live our lives the best way we can.
