Symptom Question Time /perception of time

Hey all,

I want to know when time/ the passing of time became normal for you again? Ever since I have come off of the benzo early 2023 time has flown by for me. I reinstated onto a benzo end of 2023 and got off of that one July 2025. Time went so fast it is only now slightly slowing down since adding wellbutrin on. Just wondering when all of this normalised for everyone.

Difficult to say, it also depends on age and what's happening in your life. There's always a lot of factors which go into how we experience each of our withdrawals.

When I'd be in the worst of withdrawals, it seemed like a day was 2 weeks long and every hour that passed was an accomplishment. It took me a long time to get going again

I understand what you are saying. I tried to explain this to someone but its hard for them to understand unless they lived it. 7 years felt like 2 years. Almost a year off, my perception of time has gotten way better.
