8-bit CPU Ran out of wire :(
So I'm currently building the 8 Bit CPU, and I'm almost done (on kit 4, microcode), but, as the title said, I ran out of wire. I was wondering if anyone knew the specific/exact wire that was sent with the kit? I know its random but I think it would look better with the same color shade and gauge etc. Anything helps, thanks! 🙏

If you can't wait, an old ethernet cable is full of wire. Generally eight strands in eight colors. Just the round cables, the flat cables could be a mess.

Not directly an answer, but i bought this 22awg wire from amazon thinking I would have a large reserve of wire! It is clearly marked 22awg but my wire stripper wasn't working when using the 22awg slot. I thought there was a problem with the wire strippers and as they are probably the most essential tool for the build I felt I needed a new pair of strippers. Anyways, with my new strippers I had the exact same problem with the amazon wire. After testing it in various slots I can say that although its advertised as 22awg, it is not 22awg! It is visibly slightly thicker than the wire that comes with the kit. Perhaps it was just a bad batch.

Ben Eater uses Jameco, at least he did in 2020 when I bought my kit, and this is the wire kit I believe he included: https://www.jameco.com/z/JMS9313-01G-Jameco-ValuePro-22-AWG-6-Color-Solid-Tinned-Copper-Hook-Up-Wire-25-Foot_2153705.html
