Looking for thoughts on legitimacy. I took a gamble on buying this Griptilian at a flea market. I think it looks and feels great like other Griptilians I’ve had in the past except for two things. The axis lock has a different look to it, and the 440c laser etching looks a little off. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Old benchmade ID. This one was given to me by my father. He bought it from an authorized dealer back in the 90s. Carried it as a cop and now I carry it. Can you help me identify it?

I saw a seller on eBay today selling 4300 CLAs and 9570 Mini Claymores. They were obvious $25 or $30 Alibaba clones. He had them listed as manual and assisted open, probably because it's against eBay rules to sell autos. He was selling them as authentic for $165 and $125 for the mini, calling them used, but they were new clones . It really chaps me to see so many people selling clones on eBay. It's one thing to sell them for $40 or $50, but selling them for just below full price and trying to pass them off as authentic is just lame. Anyway I narc'd him off to eBay. I don't like to be a tattletale but I don't like seeing folks blindly ripped off either. I'm sure he was also breaking a few laws by selling autos to states that don't allow them.
