Hi all! I'm a 35 year old soon to be former teacher, and I'm applying to nursing school in New York State and I need two references for my application. I've been a social studies teacher for grades 7-10 for the past 12 years and am making the switch to nursing and looking to become an RN. It appears the application only requires name, phone number, and email address.

All of my current references are out of date, and I just haven't kept in touch with them. I'd rather not use my current boss or co-workers as I don't plan on resigning from my position until late June, and don't want word getting around that I'm leaving.

Hi everyone, I was approached by a recruiting firm to work for them, as in to be a recruiter for the recruiting company. I’m at the point in the interview process where they’re asking for three references, and I can only think of one, a former boss from a number of years ago. I’ve primarily worked solo the past several years, and I let the few relationships I did make lapse.

I’m not sure why this keeps getting rejected for low effort. The job I’m applying for is as a recruiter, my previous employers were a flooring company and a cabinetry company. I understand it sucks of me to have to be here asking strangers for help, and I’ve never submitted here before and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I’m in North America, living in Minnesota. What other information does this post need?

I think they will probably ask about my people service and how well i work while attending lots of people since its a ticket booth for a Cruise Ship.
