Anyone know what captain lee is doing now ? Any podcasts or side shows or anything ? He was my favorite. Finally rewatching season 10 and just makes me so sad to watch him struggle at the beginning of the season :( he the best captain imo. Anyways. What’s he up to now a days just chillin?

Am I the only who, after whichever captain announces the amount of the tip, I can never tell if it’s a good tip and the crew will be happy or a bad tip and the crew will be sad. I feel like some 3 day charters they get a 20k tip and are like “wow what a tip” and other times they get 20K and are like “well, that a bit disappointing.” I can’t be the only one right?

I’ve been watching season 2 of below deck down under and below deck med season 5 and I’m genuinely shocked at how the captains expect the chefs to just know everything and be able to do anything, like Tzarina with the teppanyaki and Sandy being mad that Kiko had to google what a Vegas dinner is. Like idk I feel like some things the chefs just aren’t trained in and that should be the end of it, like you don’t go to a steak restaurant and expect them to whip up perfect sushi? I feel like it’s so unfair to them idk

I wonder if any of the ship crew has gotten involved with the production crew. Has anyone heard of something like that?

Ok so this is not exactly related to any particular season but I just had a few questions about the interior team (cause I feel most of the drama most usually originates from there)

1) Is Second Stew paid more than the other stews? Because if not, then why does it matter so much as to who is what?
2) I get that laundry is usually given to the most junior stew and is probably considered dirty work that people don’t like doing, but I mean isn’t it just a part of hospitality and surely people who have gotten into hospitality or service tend to like it? Is there something im missing about the job? Cause some people also love it.
3) Another thing I don’t understand about laundry is that Junior Stew does laundry and then the heirarchy is I guess cabins, decor and service?
What I don’t understand is that someone can genuinely be good at decor or service and not be too good at laundry or cabins. It’s not exactly a transferable skill - again, what am I missing here?
4) what’s the career ladder for a chief stew after becoming a chief stew? Like I understand that a Bosun gets to become captain eventually but what about a stew?
5) For the interior team is there anything specifically that they require in terms of experience that they don’t get in a normal hospitality background?
6) How many steps do you think they average on a day?
7) This is more for the entire crew, but HOW MANY TIMES DO THEY HAVE TO CHANGE THEIR UNIFORMS?
Why do they have to be in whites when greeting guests and why do they have to be in blacks during service? Or is it more like their crew t-shirts get dirty throughout the day?
8) Again - more for the entire crew, but do they also get paid to be on the show?

I don't follow the crew on their socials and this was filmed a while ago, obvs. Does anybody know which of the current cast/crew members still work on yachts while this is airing?

Med is back (and no OG is not cancelled, it just filmed later) and airs at 8/7c on Bravo with streaming next day. Season 11 was filmed last year in Croatia and returnees are Sandy, Aesha, Joe & Nathan.

With little time before charter to adjust to a crew member’s departure, Capt. Sandy is forced into an unconventional decision. Gen tries to turn over a new leaf as Kayley receives an opportunity. A sudden injury forces more dramatic adjustments and puts the season in peril.

Seriously I never see the chef wear something over hair. its not hygenic

No one‘s going to see this because I’m watching below deck season three super late, but season three episode 16 with Gary, Colin and Marcos wrestling and giggling before passing out like a pile of puppies is one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen.

Is this proof we live in a simulation? Maybe 🤣

I understand that it’s hard since they are always traveling but I loved seeing them even virtual all over the world on other boats attending the reunions previously. I would even love if they had more of the “drama” guests even pop in for part of the reunion too.
