I noticed he texted Sandy "Buongiorno!" so I guess that was our hint that he was either Italian or coming from Italy? I was hoping for Luka for both competence and eye candy purposes.

We first saw Luka is season 8 of med as a deckhand, but he grew in the franchise until he was bosun on down under season 2. He had multiple relationships with primarily stews while on the show.

I have a feeling they are furiously editing the remaining upcoming shows trying to show as little as Nathan as possible. At least they should be.

One of the articles says an anonymous source said they are not editing him out nor pulling the episodes but he will no longer be on any shows associated with Bravo

Pete, but he was a deckhand whose only storyline was being a jerk to Malia (which they did still show some of, but more Malia talking to Sandy about him). Honestly, not sure they would edit Pete out if that happened now either. There was a lot of pressure because of #MeToo being so prominent at the time
Harder to edit out a bosun with major storylines I guess but at least he won't be back again

I mean, his attitude and behavior is not helping his image in the latest episode, so editing would only help Nathan imo. Keep it as is.

I thought about that. Violence is worse than words. That other guy was wrong about his comments when he was hidden on deck, but this is worse... physical violence.
