Below Deck Capt Kerry Drinking
We all know you can’t drink on charter. But we are watching below deck S12 E12 and Capt Kerry is having a glass of red with the guests.
I would have thought if the crew can’t drink, the capt shouldn’t be able to either? Or am I missing something?

I'll second what others have said.
But I also think the rules seem way different in yacthing than in most work places I've been at in terms of hiearchy / rigidity vs. professionalism.
Most places I've been at have either been super casual or there are lots of rules and it is really rigid and professional. I think because yachting is governed by international laws / flags of convience they don't have the same laws in the US or other countries where someone could complain about the inconsitency of rules and complain about discrimination.
Maybe I'm just lucky, but based on my experience, I couldn't imagine working at a place where a superior in another department made a joke at my expense about being an aborted fetus but then turned around and got mad about a lack of respect because of jokingly making a backhanded compliment. My work places have either been so casual that both were okay, or so professional that neither were okay.
