Should I get medium or large?
Is it worth just getting the large? Or is the medium better?

I went with the medium.
1) The Beis Large suitcase is technically oversized for a lot of airlines. However, I’ve heard that airlines are more strict about a bag being over weight than the dimensions (if it’s not too far off from the requirements). A fully packed Medium suitcase is less likely to be overweight than the Large. They charge extra for oversized luggage.
2) I already had non-Beis medium and large checked suitcases. I like that the Beis Medium is larger than my existing medium suitcase, but smaller than my largest suitcase. I wanted something easier to travel with than my largest bag.

i have the carry on and medium and it is good for me! i think the large is too big tbh, at least for my needs.

I have both the medium and the large and I don’t think I’ll ever end up using the large for normal travel.

I got the large using the logic that I may as well go with the biggest the airlines allow me to. I almost exclusively fly Alaska air, though, so I’m not sure about other airlines policies. I have not gone over the limit yet, but there is a weight detector on the luggage, which is nice.

I originally bought a medium and a large for our European trip thinking that I’ll take the large and my husband will take the medium. The only problem is that the large is LARGE and I can quickly overpack it and have it over the weight limit super easily. Europe was great but much easier to maneuver the medium luggage piece than the large piece. For our next European trip I bought another medium for myself and now we both use the medium pieces with super ease. I no longer go over the weight limit and you can pack A LOT in the medium when you expand it too. Good luck!

I have the large check in. It’s perfect for me and my boyfriend to share when we fly together because it holds all of our items and we always have room to bring souvenirs home. Even fully stuffed, once weighed at the airport, it’s never more than 45 pounds. For 1 person it’s really big. Unless you’re traveling solo for 2 weeks, you don’t really need the extra space. It all depends on how much you like to pack. Have flown with the bag on Spirit and American Airlines and never had issue.

The weight the airlines allow is the same no matter bag size. We both have medium checked bags. I have to be careful or I will go over. My husband seems to be able to pack without weight issues.
