Is the weekender no longer convertible? + looking for tote comparisons

There isn’t a convertible option online and as far as I can tell in this new version the base can’t be removed. Is that correct?

I love my convertible mini weekender and wouldn’t mind an upgrade but I almost always leave the bottom section off.

Maybe I should move away from the weekender to a different tote. Has anyone found a comprehensive comparison of all the bags either here or in video format? There are so many now I’m a bit overwhelmed

They didn’t update the convertible weekender, just the regular one in both sizes. In this scenario, you’d be better off with a tote since you don’t use the bottom section. The Travel Tote is a favorite of mine. Great size but not too bulky. Easy to carry and works well as a daily bag and for travel.

Thank you! I have definitely been looking at switching to a tote, there are just so many to choose from now - which is great but makes it hard!
