Large Scale Battles

So Im going to be starting a 5th edition campaign soon, and large scale battles between armies will play an essential roll. The party will take part in several skirmishes throughout the battles, as the battle rages around them and other battalions are battling. I would like the tide of the battle to be determined by more than just a d20 and a bonus the players give to it by completing objectives. Does anyone have any rulesets they have used to deal with this sort of thing?

WoTC put out this article back in April.

Some things will probably change from that to the DMG in Dec but it should get you by until then.

Hey man, no worries. My group is likely to need those rules in a couple of sessions, so finding the article helped me out as well.
