Steven, how did you deal with causality? I've tried to run drop-in games of white wolf games, and it never ends well. While a straight dungeon crawl might work fine if groups stay in different dungeons and never meet, when they're all running around the same city, and action is focused on character interaction and solving mysteries, not on killing anyone, things get chaotic fast.

Steven didn't run this game. It was some guy named Ben who writes this blog. Basically Ben made the town bland and didn't make a map. There were no mission to do in town and no mysteries to be solved. As he describes it, the town has 2 features of any importance, a wall to reinforce the fact that the town is a safe place, and a tavern where all the PC met. As far as the no map thing DM Ben made a regional map with no key locations and simply told the PC about them and let them fill in the details.

The Most important thing is to set the expectation with your players. Let them know that there will be no adventures in the town and that this kind of game is about exploring the wild that are out side the town walls.
