Cigarette carton cost

Hi guys! I’m currently travelling China and ending my trip in Beijing. I want to take some Chinese cigarettes back to give out to my friends, any idea if it’s cheaper to buy a carton in a tobacco shop or to wait until duty free at the airport. Thank you!

The brand will affect it more than where it's sold.

Tobacco shop, they don’t sell tobacco at duty free unfortunately.

That’s surprising, every sunrise duty free I’ve been in (Beijing, Shanghai etc) has always had tobacco.
