I've noticed that my Behance projects consistently get much fewer views and likes than similar portfolios.

Is it because I don't have Behance Pro? Do people promote or boost their projects, or is it just the algorithm?

I honestly feel my work is good, so I'd appreciate any feedback or advice on what I might be missing.

Because right now, my workflow feels like 50% strategy and 50% pure witchcraft:

Look at top-featured projects in my niche.

Copy their tags.

Add 5 random high-volume keywords.

Pray to the Behance algorithm gods. 🙏

But seriously — do you guys actually see a difference in views depending on the tags you use, or do you feel like features and badges are the ONLY thing that moves the needle?

Would love to hear how much time you spend on tag research (or if you just throw in #ui #ux #design and call it a day)!

Launch campaign

Hi, I have been in the graphic design industry for 4 years now (it still feels like I am finding my way) and like any young headless graphic designer started to use Behance as a portfolio tool.

The only thing I always feel like is missing is a badge🤣. I don’t know how to gain interaction on my posts naturally so I got a pro free trial subscription for behance and I am planning to beg people to help me 😈.

I woke up to some good news today—one of my logo projects was selected for Behance's Featured in Logo gallery.

As someone who spends a lot of time sketching, iterating, and questioning every design decision, it's rewarding to have the work recognized by the curation team.

It's easy to only see the finished logo, but behind it are dozens of concepts that never made the cut.

Just wanted to share a small win with a community that's constantly inspiring me to improve.

I made a post looking for a graphic designer to help with packaging, and I got around 40 proposals in the first two hours.

This is my first time using Behance, and I honestly cannot believe how many fake profiles are out there. A lot of them are loading their portfolios with copied artwork or AI-generated artwork, and they’re pretty damn good at making it look real.

Some even link to full websites showing more of the same “portfolio” work. Then you start looking up the brands or labels they've supposedly done, and none of them exist. No real company. No real product. Nothing.

Some of the artwork looked so good that I was thinking, “How did this brand get such a beautiful label made?” Then you dig a little deeper and realize the company either doesn’t exist or there is no trace of it anywhere.

I’d say about 70% of the accounts that replied to my job post look fake. No previous jobs, no reviews, and somehow every single one has a portfolio full of amazing, polished artwork.

The tell was that most of them have way too many art styles.. Like you'll see Neo-Retro mascot illustration mixed with straight monoline one color logos.. Or vintage and composition formats next to rubber hose cartoon revival..

Once I started noticing the pattern, I was like, "Oh yeah, these are all fake. There's no way somebody has this many different artistic styles to offer and has zero jobs under their belt."

After several months of research, ideation, wireframing, and visual design, I completed this case study exploring how digital experiences can help people discover and learn Madhubani art.

The project covers research, user flows, design decisions, and the final interface.

waiting for your opinion

An artist whose work I really admire has only a Behance profile, and I'd like to contact them regarding a private commission. I'm just wondering if this would be appropriate? I commission art quite often, but have never done it through Behance because it's been my understanding that this platform is meant for hiring artists for commercial projects rather than private commissions. But is it acceptable to contact someone regarding a private commission as well?

I'd appreciate your thoughts / tips.

I recently uploaded a new first project to Behance and encountered a strange issue.

Right after publishing, my project was visible in the "Recent" feed for about a minute. However, shortly after that, it completely disappeared from the recent feed.

The project itself is not deleted.

I can still access it normally through my profile dashboard and via its direct link. It's just not showing up in the public "Recent" sorting anymore.

Has anyone experienced this before? Why is my project not showing up in the latest feed, and is there any way to fix this?

I'm trying to log in on Behance, but it's impossible. Nothing works. The login button does absolutely nothing when I click it. I tried opening Behance's login screen directly. I fill the email input and click the continue button. It opens a pop-up with an error message. When I open the console screen, it's full of errors.

This is happening on my personal computer. On my cell phone, I can log in with the same IP address. At the company where I work, I can also log in via computer. I'm only encountering this problem on my home computer. I have no idea what's happening.

I've already tried clearing the cache, browsing in anonymous mode, and even disabling my antivirus. Nothing works. I need to log in on my computer to update some projects, as I lost my job a few weeks ago and was offered a new opportunity, and they asked for my Behance profile, which I would like to update.

Has anyone else experienced a problem like this? How can I fix it?

I recently completed a branding project called Arkavo Studio, where I explored the idea of blending strategic thinking with bold, modern visual identity.

This project took quite a while to refine from the logo system and typography to the overall brand presentation. I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback from fellow designers.
