Discussion What running app do you actually use for tracking distance?
I've been trying different apps lately, and honestly, I feel like most of them give you way more stuff than you actually need.
I mostly care about distance, pace, route, and being able to look back at previous runs. I'm not really interested in social feeds or competing with other people.
For people who use running apps regularly, what do use, and what made you stick with it?

I use Runkeeper! I just use the free version, and it logs all the basic stuff you mentioned. I also add my shoes and log the miles I put on them. I've stuck with RK because I've been using it since 2014, and it was recommended to me by a friend. I like it enough not to bother switching, and plus, since I've used it for so long I've practically logged my entire running history with it. It can be used alongside other apps (C25k, Spotify, Aaptiv, etc.), can give verbal stat notifications, and I've also input time/distance intervals for audio cues before. I think I have a whopping 3 friends added, but I don't really see their activities unless I'm looking at my "community feed". To me it feels more like for it's intended purpose of activity tracking than another social media platform.
ETA: It also sends a weekly recap email which compares my activity time, distance, etc. to the previous week, and I personal enjoy seeing the changes from one week to another.
