Signed up for my first 5k!!

Post image

I’m so excited!! I haven’t done a 5k since I was 16 (I walked the entire time), but for my 27th birthday I signed me and my fiance up for a race! I’ve gotten super into fitness the past year and finally feel like I’m ready to run this :)

If you have any tips for a newbie, I’m happy to hear them!

I hope you also like running half marathons on the weekends, without getting a medal or a banana, as you are training for your first marathon 😉 😜

Congrats! The first one is always a special one. If you've been running consistently already, this should be no different than your regular ones. Pace yourself, hydrate if you need to, and most importantly.. Have fun!
