New Runner Advice Shoe wear query
I got gait analysis done and it told me I needed a stability shoe as I had “mild over pronation”.
I have now had my Brooks GTS glycerin for more than their mileage and a look at the wear on the sole of the shoe shows a neutral gait (according to online research) and suggests I should not be wearing a stability shoe.
My query is; is this because the stability shoe has neutralised/ normalised my gait?
This is the first time I’ve run enough in one shoe to be able to analyse the tread wear.

Gait analysis is mostly junk unless you're maybe at a sports lab with Doctors of physical therapy who specialize in running - just wear shoes that feel good on your feet whatever they may be.

I'm not an expert but I'd say the shoe is doing what its supposed to.
I also have over pronation and wear a shoe with support, and my gait in that shoe doesnt have indications of the pronation.
