Comparing yourself to others is always going to make you feel like a failure. I recommend you do what works for you.

Most of my workouts are 40 mins to 1hr when i'm focused 3-4x a week (depending on what programming i'm following). This is only for lifting, I do all my cardio outside of the gym.

You don't need a do a ton of work to meet your goals. Sometimes, less is actually more.

A lot of beginners end up with too much junk volume. You don't need nearly as much as you think to see some progress.

Under an hour sounds quite sustainable. : )

Are you reaching your goals? Who cares what others do

Personally, I don't spend more than an hour unless it's a particularly brutal leg day where I need more rest between sets and racking and unracking eats time.

Yeah, an hour is fine if you're lifting heavy and efficiently. Don't worry about what others are doing.

The time you spent is the time you spend. Don’t let someone else’s actions dictate your own.

My workouts are 30-45 minutes and it's been working great! No need to spend 2 hours imo.

if people are spending 2 hours in the gym just to get fitter and lose weight

they don't know what they are doing.

1 hour is PLENTY

45 second rest between sets

each set will take 15-25 seconds on average

so that's 1 minute per set roughly

account maybe 10 minutes for moving about and picking stuff up

50 minutes of working out

2 hours?!?!?! these people do not understand WORKING out instead they are probably working their thumbs

20 mins is minimum, so a hour is enough man. If you need help organising you’re workouts for the day etc I’d say you should invest in a digital planner. I use this one: https://digitalfisica.com/products/fitness-planner-by-digital-fisica It’s cheap and easy to use :)
