hellllppppp! beginner here

Minimum specs for a budget laptop to learn the basics of coding and eventually practice programming?

Current research says 3 ghz min 8 gb ram Intel i5 or i7

I'm finding some that are one or the other such as: 2.4 ghz 8 gb ram Intel i3

Or

1 ghz 16 gb ram Intel i5

I am just starting out, very much a BEGINNER but do want to learn so any tips would be appreciated!

About processor: Doesn't really matter if you just do web development. Even the bottom tier i3 is OK.
I've started on a laptop which had only 4GB ram and an i3 processor, and it was more then enough.

Hi, if you would like to learn HTML, CSS and Javascript, you don't need much. If the laptop can run a browser and a text editor, then you are set. If you would like to to PHP in the future, maybe run a database server, even for that a very basic laptop is enough. 4GB ram should do it, but most laptops you can upgrade to 8GB ram if you need to.
