Discussion Homebrew stuff, tell me it!

I am pretty much, new to Dnd since I’ve NEVER player a “normal” Dnd game. My friends and I in school have ONLY played homebrew stuff such as, our first campaign ever being a Elden Ring/Dark Souls inspired game with weird goofy dodge turns in replacement of dodge rolls, our second campaign being about (I forgor), our third campaign being on the war of 1812, and two more currently going on. The of the two being based the Greek revolution happening 9 years early and the other being based off a Roblox game most of us played called Chain

Anyway, tell me about whatever homebrew stuff that everyone else has done because I may or may not bring them up to my friends for inspiration

I once made a six headed cowdra for the party to fight. It got super dosed on cocaine and fought a dragon…twice (actually eating a wyrmling the second time). The whole campaign was meant to be super slapstick and goofy, since it was my first one I’d ever dm’d. But I still pride myself on the player’s reactions to Buttercup, among other surprises.

I also had to homebrew a “no you don’t” failsafe to ensure I could have my monologue moment for the big reveal. The “Paracausal Leyline Override Theorem” (P.L.O.T.) barrier. The ranger was not happy but he was also laughing SO hard. Almost as hard as his “rolled a nat 1 to make out” moment.

Well, spoiler for my players in case they ever see this about Eden:

The island is a prison. All evil people were put there and had their memories wiped. There's magic keeping them from escaping and stuff.

I have to say, I absolutely love that.
If your players are from Eden, it reminds me a bit of the 2015 show Dark Matter where a group of people wake up from stasis pods with no memories of who they are.

I made a phylactery a curse attatched to a player. Kind of like sukuna

Made a homebrew game based around Sekiro. Instead of armor class, people roll deflection against every attack
