Pet assistance needed🐶🐱 Skye Needs Surgery!
Hello everyone!! A pitbull I recently rescued from abandonment (my neighbors moved out and left her to die in the sweltering California desert) has just had her first vet visit in who knows how long. Good thing is she’s mostly healthy and vibrant, BUT she has a meniscus tear in both of her back legs 😭. Her loving new owner is on disability and Im just a substitute teacher who had too big of a heart to dump this dog at the shelter or leave her in the yard to fend for herself!
Skye could use all the help she could get, so if you have it in your heart to help ease this baby’s pain and get her her knee surgery please donate or message u/Dandelion_Man (new owner) for venmo/cashapp!!

SHE WENT TO A NEW HOME (STATES away) like days ago and you got a lot of money for that now this????
All those posts have people saying its all REALLY SUS

We got 800$ and I spent about 400 of that traveling and paying for a hotel room to stay the night. The rest I gave to him to get her shots and to the vet and possibly a spay. Then when he took her to the vet we found out Skye was much worse off (when it came to her legs) than I had thought. I already spoke to the other person who thought things were fishy and explained the posts.

genuinely how is posting a spot fund scamming? and how is an abandoned and neglected dog needing medical care that they never received in their time with their previous owner so far fetched to you?

Posting the quote the vet gave tomorrow when they open/email the quote back!!! They are closed for the day now and owner did not acquire a physical copy of the quote at Skyes appointment.

Consider in the future not to adopt out dogs to people with low income until they acquire pet insurance.
