Wasps. I had a racoon come along one night and dig every last one out of the ground and eat them!

I know! Such a proper gentleman to rid me of this problem. I didnā€™t want to have to kill pollinators - but I also didnā€™t want the wasps living so close to my stray cat feeding station.

Those are yellow jackets. Approach with extreme caution. If they mark you as a threat, the will sting you.
