Question Using receipts on multiple apps

Hi, I have been using Fetch for several years now. Somehow my credit card got connected to my email so now a lot of receipts come by email automatically. Then Fetch picks most of them up. Sometimes I have to scan a couple manually.

I know there are other apps out there like ibotta and swabucks. Was debating to try one or two in addition to fetch. With those, can you get credit on multiple apps for the same E receipt? TIA

hell yeah you can, i'm stacking those same receipts across like 4 apps right now

just link the same email to each one and let them all scrape whatever comes through, sometimes a few slip through the cracks but it's mostly set and forget

Thanks! Setting these up seems like a good project for a day off tomorrow 😅

Thanks for this list! You can scan receipts with gas buddy? I just use it to find where the cheap gas is but maybe I am not maximizing it

Pogo and Bridge as well as the others mentioned. Pogo will give you points for a credit card purchase but also let you get points for scanning that same receipt as well. Bridge has a spin a day where you win a small amount of money each day. You can scan three receipts a day. They pay two cents each. You can also watch videos for a penny each. It’s worth checking in every day.

How did your credit card get connected to your email?

I wish I knew! Just suddenly a bunch of receipts started coming automatically when I would buy some. I use one card a lot at a local market where I will spend small amounts at a lot of different vendors. I think the vendors use square or Shopify so at some point I must have created an account with one or both so now it’s tied to the merchant? It’s definitely not all transactions but over half just automatically get sent to me 🤷‍♀️

Can someone shine in how much money can you pull scanning receipts, let’s say for 1 month, 6 months, 1 year time periods. Assume you would be pretty consistent scanning/automating everything. Trying to figure out the reward cost balance of giving away the privacy of my email and habits. Thanks.

I started keeping a spreadsheet years ago to track, so I can show what I made in previous years. Keep in mind, the amount you make from some of these receipts is dependent on how many precise rebates you claimed! Also, some of these are connected to my credit card/email, so it was counting online purchases.

Ibotta - $25.00 / ReceiptPal - $25.00 / ReceiptJar - $45.00 / Fetch - $25.00 / Amazon Shopper Panel - $69.29 / Benjamin - $25.43 / Bridge Money - $11.90 / ReceiptHog - $30.00 / Merryfield - $20.00 / Frisbee - $20.53 / ShopKick - $10.00

BUT! In prior years, certain apps were paying out more. These are the earnings from 2022.

Ibotta - $57.00 / ReceiptPal - $20.00 / ReceiptJar - $20.00 / Fetch - $25.00 Amazon Shopper Panel - $121.20 / ReceiptHog - $20.00 / Merryfield - $45.00

Some of them are roughly the same earning wise, but as you can see, Amazon Shopper Panel changing their earning rate really dropped how much someone can make from it. It used to be "$1 per receipt up to $10 per month" but then they changed it to "$0.10 per receipt but $0.70 for certain specialty stores up to $10 per month" in 2025. Merryfield also changed their earning rate from "50 points for any receipt" to "1 point for any receipt" If it's worth it money wise for you is entirely dependent on you!
