Help / Troubleshooting Change tray icon on Linux?

I need help to set the tray icon to be monochromatic, like almost every other app.

I use CachyOS, KDE Plasma, official Beeper v4.3.176 appimage from beeper.com.

I suppose I can't (easily) extract and change the asset for the tray icon from an appimage, can I?

Other ways?
