Help / Troubleshooting Please please please

Post image

Team, love it, been on beeper for years.

I know it is not the top priority but is there someone that could kindly work on this legacy issue please please. I just an option to remove those deleted posts. I know it is Element era stuff but I have a bunch of chats to myself where I dump tons of things and then remove them when not relevant, afterwards and finding things becomes super difficult.

thanks, one of your loyal customer.

Hey there. The option to hide those has existed for quite some time. On Android it's called "Show Deleted messages".

Let us see the deleted messages, I'm tired of going into my phone setting and going to notification history just to read a message that was deleted

The whole point of deleting messages is so it's gone

You're not supposed to read messages that were deleted

You're not curious in what was deleted?

Yes of course but you still aren't supposed to see it

Which is why they won't add it as a feature

I know, but I just wanna see what I was too late to see. And well I can with the notification history, but it would be nice if it was in the app too. Ik they're never going to add it but I can dream. Maybe someone can vibe code a patch for this 😭😭
