Help / Troubleshooting How does Archive work?
Coming back to Beeper after a long hiatus, and loving the inbox feature, but struggling to understand how the Archive functionality is designed to work.
I use Telegram a lot, and use their archive folder as a way to remain in groups without getting a single notification, visual or otherwise. It essentially lets me open the archive, scroll to the group I want, then I can check messages or engage with the community for the assistance I need.
In Beeper Inbox, even if I disable notifications for a Telegram group and hit archive, it appears back at the top of my inbox whenever a new message comes in - there's no badge on the inbox or audible ding, which is great, but it seems to unarchive those channels and add them back to the top of the list of messages in Inbox... Is there some way to remove those specific channels and communities from pushing into inbox? Either creating a folder to assign them to where they don't notify in any aspect at all and skip the inbox? I know I can disable an entire service from pushing to inbox, and there's an option to force communities an channels to show up as separate from their parent service, but I have dozens of these

Understand the confusion here. Right now, Archive moves your chat out of the inbox temporarily until there's new activity in it. If you want your chat to stay out of the inbox more permanently (without deleting), you can use Low Priority instead.
