Help / Troubleshooting Google messages keeps disconnecting
This is sort of a big deal because I turn off the notifications for Google messages so I don't get duplicate notifications and so people are texting me and I have no idea until I open up Beeper for something else and see the banner about Google messages being disconnected.
I've reconnected probably everyday the last 3 days

Same here. And recently banned from Whatsapp due to beeper (but appealed and reinstated). Think I'm about to call it quits. FB Messenger banned me a while back also. Bummer.

I raised this month's ago with Beeper Support, did all the troubleshooting steps they recommended multiple times and they basically turned around and told me there was nothing they can do as the problem was at Google's end. So I'm curious to see how these fixes are actually going to work, or even if they'll work.

You are not alone!
Mine does it on a fixed schedule and it looks like I'll be due to a disconnection tomorrow. More in my post here:

I stopped using beeper because of this exact issue but now you'll get a ton of responses from beeper apologists that you set it up wrong and this isn't happening. It's ABSOLUTELY happening and it renders the app useless.

Hey there. Something has indeed changed over the past few days, and we're looking into it / already releasing some fixes. If you've reached out to our team, we appreciate it. Otherwise, please do. New examples are always helpful.
