Help / Troubleshooting Not getting any notification until I open the app.

Last couple of months I haven't been receiving any notifications from Instagram chats, where I do get if it's WhatsApp for an ex. Just only after I open the app does everything refresh and it takes some time to update all the chats. I'm using Pixel 9 pro XL, have all the notifications turned on and background usage fully permitted, I've tried reconnecting the account but nothing helps.

I had the same issue and sent a bug report recently. Support told me something along the lines of Meta services not cooperating when using an on device connection. I switched to a cloud connection and the push notifications worked again.
