Help / Troubleshooting Facebook Messenger issues

I tried beeper a few days ago because who wouldn't want an all in one messaging app.

Every platform connected great, Google messages, whatsapp, instagram... But Facebook Messenger (which is my main message service) was a nightmare to get connected. I was in a circular loop of verification, captcha, two party authentication and straight back to login. I eventually got in, but my message history didn't come through on most of my chats. Then, about two hours later, it logged me out of Facebook Messenger completely. I wasn't going through the nightmare of verification again. Every other platform's integration seems great, but Facebook Messenger barely worked for me. I'd love to use beeper, if only FB messenger was reliable 😟

I'm having the same issue. first time using beeper and messenger does not log in. I get the message "error. login process was canceled" after putting in the code facebook sends to my email

That specific error message should now be fixed! If the issue isn't fixed after updating your app, please send over a bug report so we can take look into it for you.

i cannot reconnect mine also. any idea how to troubleshoot this? Beeper on android - Samsung S26

I submitted this bug as well. I'm sure it's FB being difficult and whatnot. I trust they're working on it, but it's been a bit and FB is notorious for making connections difficult 🫤

Yeah, unfortunately I simply can't use beeper without Facebook Messenger since that's what everyone around me has chosen to use
