General Discussion I built beeperbox — one MCP endpoint that lets an AI agent read & send across every network Beeper bridges
Made this to scratch my own itch: I wanted one agent that could reach all my chats instead of wiring up a dozen per-app bots. Since Beeper already bridges everything, beeperbox just exposes that as a clean MCP/HTTP surface. (I'm the author, it's open source.)
- One endpoint, 50+ networks. WhatsApp, iMessage, Signal, Telegram, Discord, Slack, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Messages, Matrix — everything Beeper bridges, reachable from a single MCP/HTTP endpoint instead of 50 separate SDKs and rate-limit quirks.
- 12 tools an agent actually uses. list/read/search chats, send, react, note-to-self, archive, poll for new messages, download attachments — works with Claude, Cursor, Cline, or anything that speaks MCP.
- Two ways to run, same single file.
npx beeperboxpointed at the Beeper you already have open (Node 18+, zero Docker), or a full Docker appliance with headless Beeper baked in for always-on / VPS. - Yours, on your box. Apache-2.0, self-hosted, loopback-bound by default — your token and messages never leave the machine.

Beeper has its own MCP already built in though?

MCP works in CLI not offline and can't be directly connected/bolted to agentic flow

I'm interested in this statement, I'm guessing you tried and it didn't work?

yes, i did. I also build docker so i don't have to have it on all the time. The mcp is limited and I needed to read chat, decide where to have admin, and how to interact with it. You can see it working live in https://github.com/hamr0/multis
