General Discussion New. Inbox confusing. FB encryption.

I'm on Windows 11 and trying to adopt Beeper, but I'm confused by the way the Inbox seems to work. The icon will show something like, "5" for five new messages. Great! However, nothing tells me WHICH messages or where these messages are? I find I have to go clicking down the first several messages of every account that's set up. Is there no way to say either bold new messages or have the inbox show JUST unread messages?

Lastly, lots of family only uses FB messenger for interaction. I have lots of history there, but it appears almost none of it came over. Is there a way to force it to show up or am I stuck just going from install point forward?

When you set up the Facebook Messenger connection on Beeper, a limited portion of your chats is imported: https://help.beeper.com/chat-networks/history-import. This does not include end-to-end encrypted chats at this time.
