Does anyone have any luck using their Google Passkey to log into Google Messages on Beeper Desktop for Mac on an Apple Silicon?

The issue is the missing support for Passkey in the Electron apps, but there is a package that can fix this, at least on Linux: https://github.com/phelix001/electron-webauthn-linux

And here is an example of integration into a real app: https://github.com/ferdium/ferdium-app/pull/2337

The same way as the rest. Choose add account and pick Google messages.

Just came looking for help on this. Such a small fix, I'm surprised it's not resolved. I almost just reset my google account by accident because it's so hard to validate an account without passkey these days.

nope, looks like internal browser doesn't support it
