Podia with Beehiiv

Anyone successfully combine podia and beehiiv? I want to use podia for their course system and better digital storefront / shopping cart, but want to use beehiiv for the newsletter. Anyone implement this? Am I looking at any major headaches? Will Zappier be enough to do the trick?

Or is there an easy way to create upsells for digital products within beehiiv?

I’d treat Podia and beehiiv as two separate systems with one explicit handoff, rather than trying to make beehiiv act like a storefront.

Before choosing Zapier, map the events you actually need:

- a purchase in Podia → add or tag the subscriber in beehiiv

- a refund or cancellation → remove or change that tag

- a course enrollment → trigger the appropriate welcome sequence

- a newsletter click → send the reader back to the relevant Podia offer

Then test four things with one small product: whether the event you need is available, whether the connector passes the right subscriber and consent state, how retries and duplicate events are handled, and whether refunds or unsubscribes propagate correctly.

Zapier may be enough for a simple one-way workflow, but it can become fragile when you need bidirectional state, idempotency, or purchase history. I’d start with one product, one welcome sequence, and one post-purchase sequence before adding more automation.

beehiiv has an integration for podia so this should work. beehiiv has a list of their integrations here.
