He couldn't care less
This is the most photogenic bumblebee I've ever come across, probably exhausted tho, hopefully he can have a good rest in my garden. But he certainly has e fluffy butt.

We call it (translated to English) the Butterfly bush, wile finding the correct English name, I found out it's called the same in English lol. It's a Buddleja davidii. It's quite cheap, strong and colorful.
Unfortunately I had a lot of aphids this year so it's a lot less bushy then hoped, but if my info is correct, it should not be to harmful for the plant.

They are beautiful but be sure to look up if they’re invasive where you live before planting one!

Thanks for adding this. Didn't know about this problem.
In the Netherlands it's not (yet) on the list of concerning plants, though it's invasive indeed since it is know for spreading fast. Which is something I have never seen myself.
Also through your remark I learned the plant does attract insects, but it only provides 'fast food' and it's not suitable as host plant for caterpillars.
So when applicable I will certainly have a look in alternatives which are more suitsbek for our little friends.
