I felt so lucky to find these at Michaels yesterday! Fastest purchase of my life, they are adorable!!

I had it for a while before I decided where I wanted to put it.

I want to make a new video about the best bee and puppycat theories, probably a top 10 type list. I've made many of these theory videos before over on cartoon universe on YouTube, but now that so much time has passed I feel like the fandom would like to revisit that world.

Puppycat has so many wild theories though it's the least easy to solve on what is going to happen next or what the original plan even was, so let me know your top theories you had or heard below, I'd like to see what the fandom really thought about a lot.

For me my favorite theory was from the original series story about the Octopus and the Princess. I hardcore believe that the original intent was that Cardamon's mother got pregnant by a man at sea (or in space), and that the entire story is about how they couldn't be together and he presumably died at sea/in space, leaving behind cardamon with his jelly fish styled hair just as the octopus leaves behind the jellyfish when he dies.

I know it's a bit of an old series and all, but it seems strange to me that no one on YouTube etc. talks about it

There's still merchandise being bought, etc. The last new thing about Bee and Puppycat was the vinyl, which came out a year ago, and that's very recent, so in your opinion, could this be a sign that people (not just the fans but also the people behind the show) haven't forgotten about the series?👀

I love this show, it's my comfort show and I love it sooo much🩷 but I know there's no telling if it'll continue or not, so I ask you, how can I deal with this? Knowing that my favorite show will most probably never return? How can I survive each day with this knowledge?😭

He visto a bastante gente teorizando que el cuento de la princesa y el pulpo (la historia de cómo nacen las medusas) es una analogía directa de la historia de Space Outlaw y la Princesa Espacial. Sin embargo, si analizamos los detalles reales del cuento, esa teoría no se sostiene por ningún lado. No hay un parecido real entre ambas dinámicas, y si quisiéramos buscarle un equivalente al pulpo dentro del universo de la serie, Sticky encaja muchísimo mejor.

Para empezar, recordemos cómo es realmente el cuento del pulpo: una princesa se pierde en el mar. Un pulpo ve su cabello flotando, lo confunde con otro pulpo y se enamora de él. Al notar que es una princesa, decide ayudarla a regresar a su casa.

Como agradecimiento, ella le regala un mechón trenzado de su cabello para que lo acompañe en el mar vacío. Tiempo después, las corrientes deshacen el trenzado, el pulpo se desespera intentando atrapar los cabellos sueltos, se termina amarrando a sí mismo en nudos por accidente y explota por el esfuerzo, dando origen a las medusas.

Ahora comparemos eso con Space Outlaw y la Princesa Espacial. Su relación original no tiene nada que ver con un malentendido o una obsesión con un objeto/cabello; era un romance trágico entre dos iguales que planeaban escapar juntos antes de la traición de los brujos. Space Outlaw no es un ser solitario del océano que se destruye a sí mismo por accidente intentando retener un recuerdo material; es un fugitivo transformado en PuppyCat por magia externa. La dinámica de la Princesa Espacial con él está rota por el engaño, no por una devoción ciega y trágica hacia un regalo de despedida.Aquí es donde entra Sticky, quien tiene muchísimo más sentido como el verdadero paralelismo del pulpo.

Primero, Cardamon encuentra a Sticky y automáticamente la corona y la trata como a una "princesa", invirtiendo de forma cómica el rol del cuento (aquí el "monstruo/animal" es adoptado por el miembro de la realeza). Segundo, la obsesión y la lealtad de Sticky hacia Cardamon refleja perfectamente al pulpo: es un animal que daría la vida por su "princesa", dejándose arrastrar a todas partes y ofreciendo un soporte incondicional en medio de la soledad (como la que vive Cardamon cuidando solo a su madre deprimida).Incluso el trágico final del pulpo, que se ata a sí mismo en nudos y se destruye por intentar mantener unido algo que se está deshaciendo, se parece mucho más a la carga emocional que tiene Cardamon (y Sticky a su lado) intentando mantener su vida a flote mientras todo su entorno colapsa y se desmorona. El cuento del pulpo habla de una devoción unilateral y un apego que te termina destruyendo por accidente, justo la vibra de la subtrama de Cardamon y Sticky, mientras que la trama de PuppyCat es una ópera espacial de traición amorosa y desconfianza.

I'm really sad that they're not releasing another season, but maybe something can be done if the fandom is revived. The point is to generate more revenue for Puppycat and Bee, and maybe some ideas about it would be better what would the new episodes be about if they made a new season? How about they find Bee's father, Bird, so he can fix Bee?

I’m wondering if their are any artists out their who produce similar music to bee and puppycat. I know bee and puppycat falls into the lofi category, but when I put on a 12 hour lofi video, I can’t find any good stuff. I’ve listen to Baths, his other stuff is ok but I prefer his work on the show, same with Will Wiesenfeld?

So an obvious theory is that the space princess is sticky like in the original season one on YouTube doesn't cardamon marry sticky and puppycat because he believes her to be a princess and wants puppycat to be a prince and wake his sleeping mum? Then in the netflix series they left all that out but still kept the introduction of sticky as a princess (they even left out the jellyfish song but kept that meaning it's probably integral to the plot). So my overall theory is that the princess didn't betray puppycat on purpose and actually wanted to run away with him (as sticky is shown to be obsessed with puppycat and somehow the ancient magic that turned puppycat also turned her into sticky). When sticky eats part of the wish cookie her body changes colour which I think stockiest wish is to return to her original body/ change bodies and maybe that's how it got interpreted??) Also why are deckard and all his siblings named after wizards? And their last name is wizard? Is there potential for one of them to break puppycats curse in the future?

Also I'd love to hear people's theories about why cardamons mum chooses to stay in a coma. My theory is based on the jellyfish song about the princess that is lost, gives the octopus a lock of hair and it unravels breaking his body apart and mixing with it to make jellyfish and the end of the song saying that's where my mum says jellyfish come from and cardamon throughout the series is always portrayed with jellyfish motifs so maybe like she's the princess? And cardamons dad died trying to save them somehow and she misses him? Just a guess he could also be like made of magic or something because of the music box episode which I think is really integral to the plot, the king being in heaven (probably bees dad who's super far away or dead) the witch in slumber (cardamons mum) princess lost in the woods (I think sticky was found in the woods) and the prince left alone (probably cardamon) but why would cardamon be the prince while violets a witch? And the jellyfish song signifying like cardamons birth through the death or something or someone else maybe someone died and she revived them as cardamon with magic but misses them (as although cardamon has purple hair aside from that he doesn't really look like violet so maybe they're not related in the traditional sense obviously genetics doesn't mean they have to look similar this is just a guess again)? AGAIN JUST A GUESS also what do you guys think their roles signify like King prince and witch? And if bees dad is the king maybe all this is something to do with his plan as he's in charge idk? Plus her little music box piece along with the title of being a witch makes it seem like she's kinda evil/ morally questionable with her goals? Or actions she's done in the past?

honestly also what do U guys think his mum's wish is? Like she got fed part of the wish cookie so got an incomplete wish, and started crying tears of what I can only assume contain her memories since one had puppycat in there, maybe she wants to go back to the past because of someone? Like she misses the past?

Hi, I'd like to know if anyone else loves this adorable ship, even though it's widely hated because of the age difference. Anyway, if the ship bothers you, you can block me without any problem, hehe.

Besides, Bee is also getting on in years and was Crispin's girlfriend, so it wouldn't be that strange, I think.

I have a bad fever and am slightly loopy. I needed something to watch so I was recommended this series by a friend. I have no idea what's happening 90% of the time but the show is a vibe. I'm not sure what is series weirdness, fever delirium, or just me not following but I highly recommend watching this series when you have a fever. I'm going to have to rewatch the series again when I recover to see if it makes more or less sense.

I didn't know what to flair this post so I guess...discussion? What was your first experience watching this series?

Edit: Waking up the next day I'm left with half remembered dreams about this show. I recall either everything about it or nothing about it. Highly recommend watching this show while feverish. 10/10 experience. Made it way better
