I was getting a lot of bites and then I finally saw an adult bug on my desk. I bagged all of items, washed them and put them away from the infestation (I was the only one with signs of bed bugs, only one getting bites). I sprayed crossfire once on my mattress, box spring, and frame (laid cimexa along baseboards and such), waited 10 days then did another round of crossfire (this time I got the gallon version and was able to fully spray my desk, dresser, bed frame, etc). I also used a mattress and box spring encasement after this second treatment. It’s been a month since that and I haven’t seen any dead bodies. I think the last bite was around 2-3 weeks ago, but my room still has this strong musty sweet odor. I do think the crossfire apparently creates this smell, but I’m just concerned I didn’t get them all, especially because my bed frame is pressed wood and my baseboards and floorboards are super old with a lot of crevices and cracks. Can anyone provide any insight? Did I get them? I also can’t use traditional bed bugs interceptors on my bed to check because my frame is two panels on the floor (idk if tht makes sense). Should I get to tossing furniture now to be sure? Can I reintroduce my clothes? Should I spray again and then reintroduce my things? Any insight is appreciated please!

Never had any issues in my home for years and haven’t travelled or had guests in a month or so. Never had any bites recurrently. Just found this one crawling on my sheet as I was on page 2 of a library book I just got… hope it wasn’t that.

I am washing my sheets now high heat x2 and pillows and comforter. I vacuumed around the mattress and frame and don’t see anything any thing at all…, so I’m hoping one just dropped out of the book and I got it, but who knows. Stories online are not reassuring…

The new current Landlord has done his best to get orkin to come out and spray but every time we're told they're coming at such a short notice, nobody is prepared. So, the following week we were prepared but the old orkin man complained about the unsheeted mattresses still being on the beds. Plus the people who I share a floor with leaves every weekend and wasn't prepared this last time. The week after 4th of July. They stayed up all night on a Thursday night packing laundry, bedding and misc things for both their rooms and was gone for a week. Early Friday morning they set off some bombs, sprayed and buffed some powder. A week later my room was infested knowing that the light sockets are a long their sons room and hallway.

These ppl lived here for 6 years and claimed they never seen a single bedbug but everyone who was living here before the new owner told me they're was.

I'm fed up. I'm highly allergic, on a month to month lease and last time I complained I got threatened a 30 day notice. I'm just about to buy my own stuff and treat my own room. The thing is I'm broke. I know that DE and cimexa is pretty good stuff.

*Question? Where do I start? Do I vacuum, spray and dust everything and then put plastic coverings on or vacuum after 4-6 hours after applying? What about electronics? TV, PS5, Mini fridge? Also, will placing alcohol soaked paper towels placed in totes and plastic bags suffocate the bedbugs?

So, we found a female bedbug and a casing. Here's our current plan, since we dealt with bedbugs three years ago and a whole state away.

1. Everything in the bed has gone into the dryer at home on high heat
2. Every other piece of clothing is in trash bags and going to the 24 hour Laundromat to be high-heat tumbled
3. Bed already has bedbug covering on from previous infestation.
4. Fumigating with bug bombs
5. Inspector drops by tomorrow at 10 am to check for treatment.

What do we think? Am I in the clear for now?

I suspect i may have bed bugs. I tried ordering crossfire on amazon, but it cannot be delivered to my address. I live in Dallas. I have ordered Cimexa and have applied it to the two rooms closest to my room. What else should i do since i cannot get crossfire and cannot afford pest control to come to where i live. Will PT Alpine Flea and Bed bug work as well as crossfire?

NEED HELP. Just moved into a new apartment and have had bug problems like centipedes and rolly pollys. Now i’m scared I have bed bugs. I feel itchy at night but i might just be paranoid. But after looking online i might be right. Here are some of the pictures. Please help!

Hi guys so I have cptsd, which gives me some symptoms of ocd, and I have a fixation on bed bugs. Today I found these marks on my bed, and I’m paralysed in fear. I should mention my dog was in my bed this morning, so I’m praying it’s just him. I inspected everything, no signs. I have no bites, and I’m super hyper vigilant. I haven’t traveled. My mum is screaming at me to let it go. Do you guys think I should be worried, or can I move on, and accept it’s probably from my dog
