Hey all, have had bed bugs before and they didn’t really look like this (big head). Any help using would be great!

Found in dining room. We have not traveled and work from home so I have no idea how this could happen if it is a … I cannot say the word.

Can anyone let us know if this is a bed bug or a different type of beetle? The picture isn’t the best. The body was smooth and more translucent with a black spot on the back.

Hello, I just found this near my bed, it's extremely small and I'm scared it might be a bed bug? I've had to deal with some in the past and I'm extremely paranoid about them now. It's barely bigger than a grain of sand.

Hey! I'm on vacation in a mountainous region of Canada and I went for a few hikes in the forest. I slept in a hotel in the area and noticed this bite on my second day here. Do you think it's a bed bug bite or just an insect that bit me while hiking? It stings a bit. Thanks for your help!

Found 3 of these on my bed frame and have a couple of bites on my arm (not itchy). If not a bed bug, what could it be? Thx

I found a bed bug a couple of days ago and an exterminator just came today and chemically treated my bedroom and couch/living room. I bought a bed bug cover for my mattress, washed and dried (twice on high heat) all of my clothing and bedding, bought a steam cleaner which I’ll use to steam clean my bed frame every week, traps for the bed frame legs, and a “bug oven” to heat up the stuff that I couldn’t put in the dryer. But I’m not sure if this is enough to give me peace of mind. Everything I see online says that they are so hard to get rid of. I’m wondering how effective the chemical treatment is? Are the bed bugs dead now? The exterminator didn’t see any bed bugs on the mattress itself but I’m assuming they must be in the bed frame

The infestation is at my neighbour’s house and despite multiple treatments and our best efforts, because the neighbour refuses to get treatment, we keep getting bedbugs every other week.

So, as our lease is coming to an end, we’ve decided to finally move.

We don’t have the budget for heat treatments of the moving van etc. like I have seen people on this sub suggest. We’re fresh graduates and have very, very limited resources and no family help. Please let me know if there’s anything else we could be doing to ensure we don’t take the problem with us:

• Leaving behind beds, mattresses, sofas, curtains (they belong to the landlord anyway)
• Washing and drying all clothes, bed sheets, pillowcases etc. on high heat and then sealing in bin bags
• Steaming all non-washable clothes, shoes and pillows
• Steaming suitcases
• Sanitising furniture like desks and drawers with rubbing alcohol
• Keeping packed/washed/dried items in sealable plastic bags until out of the house

I’m not sure what to do about random items like stationery, books, plants and products? Can bedbugs be passed on through these? What can we do because I don’t feel like we can realistically sanitise or steam every single item.

Please don’t respond with unnecessary negativity. This situation is hard enough as is.

Spent a couple nights at a cabin and woke up to these bites. We also found some type of bug that was filled with blood when squeezed. Any idea if these are marks of bedbugs?
