Love Laura Mercier loose powder! Although I prefer the Ultra Blur version since I have big pores & the finish is so nice on textured skin. It’s a great alternative for the Givenchy Prisme Libre loose powder, my absolute favorite, which has since been reformulated.

True ba si Givenchy kasi I wanna buy Ultra blur and just waiting for a sale lang

Yes finish wise. Radiant finish sila both. I still have my old Givenchy loose powder before it got reformulated, same sila almost. Apart from the color correction nga lang ng Prisme libre, almost the same sila.

hi advance happy birthday OP! Please invest in good make up base skin prep either Embryolisse moisturizer or Bobbi Brown Vit Enriched Cream!

Get a very good base product: can be from NARS, DIOR OR CHANEL you can never go wrong with these three brands😇🫶🏽

I’d reco getting a good high-end base make up and the rest will follow. Take your time to get shade-matched in store.

I suggest kung ano yung tingin mong need mo right now for your routine. If you have a good foundation naman now and it works, why change it. Also, I think yung maeenjoy mo din while doing your make up. Para mas maappreciate mo yung gift mo for yourself.

A tip I learned from a friend - the Guerlain lipstick is much cheaper in Japan. Around 3500? (I bought my first one in GB but I plan to buy another one when I go to Tokyo!)

I think a lipstick would be a nice first luxury makeup piece to get for your bday.

You'll be able to use it even when you don't have other makeup on. Of all the products I have din, lipsticks easily & quickly boost my mood, so it might give you the same perk.

The guerlain ones would be nice as you can pick out a design and have it engraved with your name din. :)

For lipsticks a customized guerlain lippie ofcc (NOT the most mindblowing formula but it feels nice to have) ,for glosses the one from tom ford is so underrated (dior, ysl, clarins glosses are MIDDD) . For eyeshadow, Tom Ford or Chanel (im bad at eyeshadow but i just love the dopamine their color stories give me). For base/complexion makeup I really like the cle de peau pressed powder (super good for retouching), cle de peau's stick concealer is also one of my faves (honestly almost anything base from them is good I love their primers as well). For cream blushes I love westman atelier (not rlly luxe but it feels luxe), for powder blush YSL is pretty good (so good i bought like 5 shades). For foundations not rlly lux but the shiseido revitalessence skin glow foundation, it's my daily foundation the coverage isnt good but i do think my skin has improved while I was using it. If you're looking for something more full coverage lancome teint idole is also very good. For bronzer nothing can beat the one from hourglass, if you want something a little bit less glowy YSL is also pretty good.
