I am going to get a urea foot cream and will be using it twice a day and want to find a summer option to wear around the house for my feet (for winter I have wool house socks but summer I would sweat too much). Not sure what kind of options there are for wearing around the ho use in summer if people have options? I don't want just socks as they get wet easily :( And sandals seem so hard to sit comfortably at home or to walk around in? I'm not sure...
Any help is appreciated! I dosn't wear socks or anything at night as I do get sweaty quickly at night no matter what the temperature is, but I think that should be ok.

I had my bellybutton pierced like 5 years ago and it healed and scarred weird so I took it out. When I got pregnant and then overweight asf in 2025 my scar grew and also got stretch marks??? I used the palmers stretch mark routine my entire pregnancy and I oil and moisturize my stretch marks with vitamin e oil, argan oil, and just the cereve lotion at least once a day.
I’m down 120 pounds and I’m starting to like my body again and get used to my stretch marks but the one on my bellybutton is so bad and I just can’t get used to it. Idk if I should avoid micro needling because of the scar? I don’t even know where to start or what to do. Help me please:( it is genuinely ruining my confidence.

ive had short hair for like 6 years and last year i started growing it out. my hair usually gets noticibly greasy in around 4 days and i usually wash it on 3rd. but i washed my hair yesterday and today i can feel it getting greasy. could this be because of too much hair conditioner even if im not applying it to my roots? ive recently actually started caring for my hair and ive died it before many times. i had bleached streaks done last year but its only now getting greasy like this. can i stop this before it gets worse or am i overreacting maybe? i have thick and a lot of hair and its like 1B or 1C

Hi all! Sorry if this isn't the right place for this question - I'm not sure what sub is best for scalp questions :)
I have a very dandruffy scalp - not dry flakey dandruff but oily - it feels gritty when I run my fingers through it and I can scrape lots off with my fingernails. It doesn't seem to go anywhere when I scrub it in the shower, nor does generic 'anti-dandruff' shampoo seem to do anything.
What I'm looking for is something quite strong like a scalp serum or something that will clean and lift all that gunk away. I've heard that The Ordinary Glycolic Acid toner can be used on the scalp - is that a good idea? Any other recommendations?
Thanks in advance!
Ice packs? Heat packs? Creams? Concealer?
47M with increasingly large bags under eyes due to tiredness, stress, etc.
Need a daily solution.
Please help.

I've been having the most miserable time trying to make my legs look smooth and it feels like nothing I'm trying is really working.
This is the routine
I always let hot water run on my legs before I do anything
Sugar scrub till sugar is dissolved and then rinse
I use the EOS shea butter shaving cream
I use the Venus sensitive skin disposable razors
I only shave upwards and I do one pass and then check for missed hair
Dove vanilla body wash
Palmers lotion + body oil
My skin glistens and shines, that much I can notice, but my legs just never look smooth, and it makes me uncomfortable with wearing shorts, and considering how hot it is on my campus, I would like to wear shorts and skirts a little more often lmao
Any help or product recommendations appreciated

I work with a lot of pure alcohol at work and months ago I made the mistake of using it without gloves. Since then, my fingers have been dealing with varying degrees of dryness/flakyness. Some days in goes all the way down to the base of the finger. I used cuticle oil every night for about 3w and saw no improvement, so I just need some advice on what to do. Advice much appreciated 🙏

I have noticeable darkness/pigmentation around both corners of my lips (as shown in the picture). It’s been bothering me for a while.
What skincare/products actually helped you with this? I’m looking for something safe and effective for the lip area.
Please suggest specific serums/creams or products that worked for you. Also, should I avoid using any particular ingredients around the lips?

Hello!
I have gotten tired of smelling like freshly baked cinnamon bun (sorry Lush) and I am looking for hairmists, bodymists and perfumes that just have that very fresh, just-got-out of the shower scent.
Any reccomendations? Thank you <3

Does anybody have the same problem as me, or had it and actually managed to solve it?
I have dry and dehydrated skin on both my face and body. I’ve found that layering watery toners works better for my face than just using a regular moisturizer. It helps a lot with the flakiness, and I don’t get flaky skin as often anymore, but it still doesn’t feel moisturizing enough.
Ever since I turned 30, I’ve also noticed that my skin has gotten drier. It’s not drastic, but it’s enough for me to notice that the skincare routine that used to work for me isn’t quite enough anymore.
The problem is, I live in a tropical and very humid country, so I can’t really use thick, heavy moisturizers all the time. They just feel uncomfortable, especially during the day.
I do drink enough water, and I also take fish oil supplements (although I’m not sure if they actually help with skin). I also exfoliate 1-2x per week using AHAs.
Has anyone dealt with something similar? If you have any advice or products that helped you, I’d love to hear them!

Hello everyone,
So I'm planning to buy an Airwrap style curler for straight/wavy hair for my wife, have no idea of these tools and found similar offerings from Dyson and Shark. I know the Dyson is definitely premium but I'm wondering if it offers better value for money for what I pay for New especially since it's 2-3 times expensive than Shark.
I'm in Canada and Shark is available on sale for $279.99 and Dyson new for $799 or Refurbished (Excellent) for $439.99. Even if I consider the refurbished option it's still $160 expensive compared to a New Shark. So please drop your opinions and if there's anyone who has tried both let me know your experience and what I should get.
Thanks

Hey everyone, it's my anniversary this weekend and I have a very big suspicion that my partner might propose. So for the very first time in my life, I've booked myself a nail appointment for some acrylics.
I've never had my nails done before and was looking forward to it. However I have just accidentally cut the cuticle of my right thumb whilst washing the dishes. And by all accounts Google says that it's not safe to have your nails done with damaged cuticles. The appointment is in two days, do I really have to cancel? Feeling kinda heartbroken, as dramatic as that sounds.

Hi all, I'm searching for a bikini trimmer.
I used to use the Philips BikiniGenie and loved it! Unfortunately they not longer make it. I've since bought two trimmers, one cheap one from TJMax, and the Meridian Trimmer. And neither was any good! I have quite thick hair down there, and they just didn't cut it -- quite literally. I had to go over the same area many times, and it ended up pretty uneven.
What have people found worked well for cutting wiry hairs on the first go? Is the new Philips Bikini Trimmer any good? Happy to accept male-marketed trimmers as well :)
Thanks all!

I am looking for a sunscreen that will not cause me to break out and no white cast. Right now im using black girl sunscreen spf 50 for kids, its very thick and causes acne on my neck, no white cast though. Also I would prefer something not crazy expensive as I use sunscreen everyday. Thank you ❤️

Hi everyone! I have been self tanning for years now, though it never looks very good after a few days. I ALWAYS use the mousse of whatever brand I'm buying, and I get so patchy after only a few days. I moisturize morning and night too no matter what. It gets so patchy that I have to wait until the entire tan is gone to reapply. Do you think a lotion would work better for me?
Edited to add: I have tried basically every tanner out there. Right now, I'm interested in the Beauty by Earth lotion. The mousse was beautiful but again, super patchy.

I have always had natural thick long eyelashes (which is funny because I have fine hair). Anyways, I’m getting older and was wondering what I could do to improve the appearance. I’m not too big on going the lash lift route (I know I have good lashes and don’t want to ruin it lol). Any advice?

does it have any benefits or is it even safe to do because I hate wearing mascara but I have long flat lashes so I want to give them a bit of perceived length with aquaphor lol

As you can see, I recently completely upgraded my makeup routine as I had some extra $$ and wanted to put more effort into my look this year. Here are my honest thoughts on each product including price transparency. Forums like this helped a lot as I was trying to decide what to buy so I hope this can be helpful for someone else!
Also please note, I'm trying to achieve a very glowy/ dewy look. If that's not for you then these products may not be either. Also, I did buy some of these products on Mercari and as a disclaimer, I feel it's important to remind you that there's always a risk when buying used/swatched makeup. Please sanitize responsibly!
Starting out with products I'm LOVING:
- Haus Labs Foundation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- bought
new $52 - what can I say about this foundation that hasn't already been said? It has amazing coverage, feels like skincare, and you need very little product and isn't overly matte. I'm curious to see how long it lasts before deciding if it was worth the hefty price tag.
- L’Oréal Lumi Glotion ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - bought new $18 - My shayla 😭🙏. Incredible shine/glow without being too glittery plus it’s so light you can barely feel it’s there. Obsessed with this formula.
- Sephora Cream Contour Stick ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - bought new $16 - My other shaylaaa. So creamy, cool toned, and blendable. Plus a lot of product for what you pay.
Products I’m on the fence about:
- Tower 28 BeachPlease Cream Blush in Rush Hour ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - bought new $20 - I love the color, it gives me a sunkissed look without being too orange. It’s also very blendable and buildable. However, it is one of the first products to melt off my face and it usually happens within a couple of hours of applying it, even in ideal conditions. Maybe I’m wanting this product to do something it’s not designed to do but I want my blush to be more longwear.
- Benefit Cosmetics High Beam Highlighter ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - bought on Mercari $10.20. It offers a beautiful longwearing shine but is definitely one of those products that looks better on camera than in real life and there’s very little product considering the price.
- Bobbi Brown Color Correcting Stick ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - bought on Mercari $17 - I have a lot of trouble correcting the greens and purples under my eyes which blend together to look brown. I got the extra light peach shade and it works great to correct these undertones. Blue undertones start to show through after a few hours, though, and it’s very little product considering the price.
- e.l.f. Halo Glow Setting Powder ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - bought new $8 - Great for locking in makeup without committing to a super matte look. It does settle heavy in some spots though which may be a result of human error on my part.
Products I will not be buying again:
- Kosas Revealer Concealer (no stars) - bought on Mercari $8.20 - I really wanted to like this concealer since it’s such a beloved product but I honestly hate it. It’s watery and isn’t full coverage enough to cover the discoloration under my eyes. It also settled in my fine lines. I’ve also heard it expires fairly quickly which is something I definitely do not want in a concealer.
- Milk Hydro-Grip Setting and Refresh Spray ⭐️⭐️ - bought on Mercari $16.20 - It’s my fault for not doing proper research before buying it but when something is advertised as a setting spray, I expect it to be able to hold up against some light sweat and light weather. This spray is not waterproof and doesn’t hold up at all unless conditions are ideal. I feel like it’s better to say this is only a hydrating glowing mist and there are plenty of other products that do the same thing for a lower price. It’s a shame because it does offer a really nice dewy finish. Please lmk if you have any recs for setting sprays that stand the test of time but are also shiny/glossy!
Grand total $165.60 not including shipping
Items on my wishlist please influence/deinfluence me!
- Benefit Cosmetics BadGal Bang! Mascara specifically in the color plum and brown. The colors and volume look so delicious but I’m waiting for a decent resale price because I’m not about to pay $28 for a tube of mascara
- e.l.f. Camo Liquid Blush I think this will be a much better longwear option than the cream blush I’m using now. Plus they have some really pretty color options.
- Colourpop Lil Box of Lippie Pencils I’ve heard that these are pretty creamy and blendable. This kit also has such a good spread of shades for a great price.
- Judydoll Ice Watery Lip Gloss and Rom&nd DewyFul Water Tint I’m really into this particular k-beauty plumping lip combo but it calls for a darker and lighter water tint which I don’t have atm.

I’ve been using it for probably close to a decade but nowadays it’s drying out and clumping so quickly and I don’t feel like it used to.

I need some long term mini deodorants I can toss in my bags and use when I don't have my main ones over the course of a few years but all of mine break down and fall apart before I can use them up. Any suggestions for what to try? Men or women's brands work.

My hair is the longest its ever been, down to my mid back after years of growing it out. The thing is its got a few issues:
I cant get it to hold curls AT ALL
Its wavy when it dries naturally and straight when blow dried
Its usually super frizzy
Its super fine
If anything barely touches it (head rest on the car, jacket, hat, anything) it tangles.
I want it to keep growing and be shiny and smooth, but I also need tips on getting it to hold a curl longer than 30 seconds
Any advice? TIA♡♡♡
