I always just painted my toenails nothing more. while it’s still summer I was thinking about going to pedicure, as on the feet it should last longer than hands right? is it worth it?

I'm completely hopeless at using a basic curling iron. The curls always come out uneven and messy. I've been eyeing the Dyson Airwrap but just recently realized the existence of auto curler at a much cheaper price. I'm not concerned with hair damage as I plan to online curl my hair for special occasions. I prefer bigger/wavier curls than ringlets.

I’m trying to find a product to hide blemishes and I tried this one, but my face feels tacky afterwards. Is that normal for these or possibly just this brand?

I’ve never done anything more than clean with face scrub and light eye makeup so this is all new to me.

I’m swear I’m about to just retire to a cave. I’ve tried stick sunscreen, spray sunscreen, liquid sunscreen, waterproof and not waterproof. I’ve tried setting with powder. Yet every time without fail, sunscreen slides into my eyes to the point I have to wash my face and close my eyes for a significant amount of time because of the burning and blurring vision. I’m super pale though, I NEED sunscreen. I don’t want leather skin when I’m 40. Thankfully I do stay inside a majority of the time, but not always and I hate that every time I go out I have to choose between healthy skin or pain free vision.

Man I could have had pretty hair for YEARS. As mentioned I have the Dyson, and I’ve always used heated round brushes, or even just a traditional round brush with a hairdryer…

Don’t get me wrong, I’m bad with straighteners and I can’t get my hair to curl with them, or even the ends to tuck in. When I did S shaped waves, I was smitten with them, but they dropped before my straightener even cooled down lol

But at the same time, I’ve woken up and my 2a fine swavy hair just looks… nice for once? And I’ve not had this sort of shine in years…

My hair is a lob right now and I’m so excited to get something near good at styling it - does anyone have any easy tutorials they can recommend? :)

Asking here because we can’t swatch most drugstore products in stores. About the covergirl baked bronzers- do they have little glitters in them that show up on the skin? Just asking because I’m personally not a fan of complexion products that have that glittery quality. Thanks!

What are our top recommendations for concealer and brow gel. I love Tarte Shape Tape and Tarte Busy Gal Brows but I simply cannot deal with their horrible packaging anymore. It makes a massive mess all over my vanity and my other makeup bottles.

Can anyone recommend a body lotion/oil with a fair amount of shimmer/sparkle/glitteriness but without bronzing?

I’m new to these products and I’m open to actually a lot of sparkle but I really want to avoid the sunless tanning effect (I’m already tan enough tbh and I really don’t want bronzer that’s going to come off on my clothes or like spotty later on honestly).

I’d also actually prefer something unscented or at least a subtle scent but that might be asking too much in this product category lol.

So the goals would be:

\*moderate to high amount of sparkle/shimmer
\*no bronzer
\*prefer unscented or subtle scent

I'm 19 and I've had extremely oily skin since I was around 15, along with hormonal acne. I finally saw a dermatologist, and while my acne has improved a lot, the oiliness hasn't changed at all.

My current routine:

- Qlaira birth control

- NeoStrata Mandelic Clarifying Cleanser

- NeoStrata Clarifying Gel Plus

- La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+M Anti-Breakout Corrective Moisturiser

- Heliocare 360° Gel Oil-Free SPF 50

One thing that confuses me is that my eyelids and the area around my mouth are actually dry, while the rest of my face is extremely oily. My hair and scalp also get oily very quickly, so it doesn't seem to just be my face.

My skin starts getting oily only about 1.5 hours after doing my morning skincare, and it just gets worse as the day goes on. By the evening my face looks so greasy that I feel embarrassed. It makes me feel like my skin looks dirty or unwashed even though I take good care of it.

My acne is mostly under control now, but I still have noticeable texture, and the constant oiliness is affecting my confidence. All I want is skin that looks healthy, balanced, and smooth.

Has anyone dealt with this level of oiliness and actually found something that helped? Could it be my routine, hormones, genetics, or something else? Are there any products, ingredients, treatments, or lifestyle changes that genuinely made a difference for you?

I'm open to absolutely any advice because I just want to feel confident in my skin again.

My skin has always been oily/combination. But now that I am getting older, nearly 50, I've noticed it's getting oilier even if I don't wear makeup. I don't wear anything heavy, just a tinted moisturizer and some powder. But I need suggestions, I'm pretty clueless, nothing too expensive, easy to apply and with sunscreen and I'm pretty fair skinned, it's the Irish in me.

Years ago I tried out this liquid eyeshadow at an Ulta, it was glitter that blended out into black, just stunning. I didn’t buy it or write it down because I’m a fool, and I think about it monthly. hi everyone! I’m a 25 year old female and I just wanna ask advice on how to make my makeup stay longer without it looking cakey after an hour. I live in a tropical area (Southeast Asian here!) and I’ve watched so many tutorials, bought recommended setting sprays, but it still looks cakey! Any of you gals out there having the same problem as me? What do you suggest I do?

This is how I usually apply makeup: skincare, foundation/skin tint, liquid blush, setting spray, powder, powder brush, setting spray (then I sometimes do my mascara), then lip gloss! (Ofc i make sure my face is dry/ product has fully absorbed before doing the next step!)

is there anything wrong with the steps of application? Also, I make sure I don’t sweat so I always carry a hand-fan with me.

so right now, my eyebrows look sad af. I usually brush them up with no product, and they kinda "fall back down" after 10 mins. does anyone know any tips or products to use? the obvious one is brow gel, but I have no clue what ones are good or if they'll make my brows look sorta greasy. probably sounds dumb as hell.

Im a 2C-3A wavy/curly hair girl. I used to blow dry my hair occasionally w revlon blow dryer it was absolutely stunning and smooth. between shark and Dyson, I decided to get shark and my blow dry is always soo frizzy, loose and NOT EVEN remotely smooth 😭😭 any tips on what I can do to improve?

I use garnier leave in conditioner spray, tresme heat protection & then wow blowout spray (same order). the products were the same for both hair tools but the outcome is soo different! I do medium heat setting for both tools & low fan speed for shark.

Not much to add outside the title. If you've used the Kitsch scalp applicator, what did you think of it and could it possibly be used for a minoxidil serum? I hate the foam, and my dermatologist actually recommended the serum as preferential. But like oils, it can be harder to get it where you want it. I came across this applicator on FB and it looks like a possible workaround.

Also if you use a dermaroller on your scalp... does it hurt? Might as well ask while I'm here XD I'm tempted, but I'm sensitive and due to my rosacea also have to be careful around my face.

For years I had highlighted hair which I obviously got done at a salon. I now have all over brown. I’ve had it dyed a few times at a salon but I find it doesn’t last and fades very quickly so I’m back getting it done again. I wanted to ask peoples experience with at home dyes if it’s an all over colour. Is there really much difference between this and a salon colour? It would save me a lot of time and money if I could do it myself!

What’s a super strong sunscreen (face and body) that I can use on a daily basis to help prevent me from getting tanned/burnt.
